Lt. Steve Rogers started his career with the Lucas County Sheriff's Office in July of 2006 working in the Communications Section as a dispatcher and 911 call taker. In 2013, Lt. Rogers transferred to Field Operations working as a road patrol unit and in June of 2016 he was promoted to the rank of sergeant where he was assigned to 2nd shift jail. On February 1st, 2018 he was assigned to the Drug Abuse Response Team ( D.A.R.T. ) where he currently oversees day to day operations. On November 10th, 2020 he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.
